Middleton has worked on brand, creative and training projects for Aviva, Barclays, Pret a Manger, Deloitte and British Airways and written two books on marketing.
He was made the first brand leadership fellow of the University of East Anglia Business School.
Brand Book Live is being held at the Mint Hotel Tower of London and seven sector roundtables will see event planners examine the health of each sector and identify the top brands driving event marketing in the pharmaceutical, automotive, consumer goods, financial, media, retail and IT and telecoms.
Key trends to be discussed include social media, the Bribery Act, strategic meetings management, sustainability and the events landscape.
