Danwood plans new series of product events

Printer supplier and services company Danwood is planning to run product-focused events in Ireland and northern England following a successful Scottish forum.

Danwood is planning the events in September for its graphics and production systems division.

The aim is to join Danwood technicians with independent retailers to explain and demonstrate its printers, which include ranges from Konica and Xerox.

Danwood marketing communications manager Jade O’Connor said around 100 delegates were being invited to each event, following a successful session held in Scotland in April.

"The delegates are very technically-minded and run their own print shops so we need to provide opportunities for them to ask questions and see demonstrations of the products from our technical teams," she added.

O’Connor is now carrying out site inspections for venues for the two events.

Possible options include Croke Park in Dublin for the southern Ireland event, and the Royal Armouries or Leeds United FC’s home Elland Park for the northern England event.

Meanwhile, senior managers will join key customers at the British Open Golf Championship in Sandwich, Kent, next week.
