The Dorchester, Coworth Park and 45 Park Lane’s events will be overseen by a new team, headed by James Partridge and Laura Prentice.

Partridge joins as director of group and event sales from The Montpellier Chapter Hotel where he was general manager, overseeing 16 event rooms and 365 guest rooms. He reports to Dorchester Collection area director of sales and marketing Trevor Owen.

Prentice has been appointed head of group and event sales, overseeing a team of five event managers and nine sales executives. She was previously director of events at Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel.

This September, the 45-room 45 Park Lane will open opposite The Dorchester. The hotel will offer a ten seat media room for private hire.

The Dorchester is currently refurbishing four rooms which make up its 500-capacity Ballroom Suite, which is due to open this October.

Meanwhile, Coworth Park, a 70-room property in Berkshire, has opened a semi-permanent marquee, holding 350 delegates seated.
