The seminar, which takes place on the morning of Tuesday 28 June, is introduced by Eventia’s head of regulation Brian Kirsch and led by Olswang partner Brian McDonnell.

Eventia’s Regulation Committee has prepared a briefing note, which gives practical examples of how this Act may affect the industry.

Kirsch, who is also managing director of Event Assured, said: "The Eventia Regulation Committee will continue to work for sensible and proportionate implementation of the new Act, but members need to know now how to respond to the changes it brings. The briefing will start the process of informing members of how it affects our industry."

Industry figures recently told C&IT that they welcomed efforts to produce practical examples of how companies can fall foul off the Bribery Act, which comes into force on 1 July.
