Deloitte, Smyle, London & Partners and London Excel have shared their London 2012 Olympic Games plans and highlights as the 400-day countdown to the event begins today (23 June).
Deloitte's London 2012 sponsorship director Annabel Pritchard said: "Being able to invite clients to share in an experience like the Olympic Games really is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. From a people perspective, for us it’s about driving pride internally – and also to drive performance, through reward programmes for example."
Smyle's managing director Rick Stainton said: "We’re priming ourselves to be fit for purpose because if you don’t do it now it will be too late."
London & Partners
London & Partners director of business tourism and major events Tracy Halliwell said: "During Games time, London provides a fantastic opportunity to use the Olympics as a key motivational tool or theme for events and meetings."
Excel London director of conferences and events James Rees said: "The Games give us a natural opportunity to highlight London as a world class event destination – in particular the capital’s eastside as a centre of excellence and innovation - and also brings us an excellent opportunity to show off the new ICC."
