The financial services company appointed Octagon for its whole Uefa programme, including running the event at Wembley last week.

Imagination was appointed by Octagon to carry out design, production, venue management and develop the concept of a ‘Priceless’ gift.

The brief covered three elements: bring to life the host city; evoke Mastercard’s Uefa theme ‘Witnessing history: Priceless’, and introduce the 700 delegates to Mastercard’s new Pay Pass technology.

Imagination designed and developed boutiques with London-themed souveniers that guests could purchase with a Pay Pass card that had a small amount of money charged onto it.

Every guest was presented a framed square of the Wembley turf as their ‘Priceless’ gift, which had been stepped on by the players.

Imagination was granted permission by Wembley to install turf inside the tunnel as the players ran out.

Once kick-off had taken place on 28 May, a team carefully pulled up the turf and cut it into pieces, which were mounted, framed and given to guests in time for the final whistle.
