Insurance giant Axa is hosting the conference for the Employee Assistance European Forum, a body formed in 2002 and comprising members from 23 countries.

The international conference is in its tenth year and will have the theme Resilient people, resilient organisations; a European challenge.

Among attendees will be delegates from Validium Group, CIC and PPC Worldwide.

Axa PPP healthcare events and marketing manager Patrick Ryan said: "The forum is held around the world and this year they wanted to come to the UK."

He added the conference will include a series of seminars and plenary sessions, as well as a visit to the House of Lords and dinner on a boat on the River Thames.
