Electrolube will be bringing distributors together from across the UK and Europe for the first technical, sales and marketing conference to be held at its new headquarters in Ashby de la Zouch.

The firm, a division of H K Wentworth Group, is a manufacturer of electro-chemicals for electronics and industrial manufacturing.

The two-day event on 25 and 26 October will be attended by around 35 distributors from countries including the UK, Finland, Italy, France and Germany.

Training will be the main focus of the conference, along with networking, said Electrolube marketing manager Karen Harrison.

"It is a chance to show our distributors the new site, as well as providing training on new products coming out this year," she added. "It is also a chance to meet the whole team. It has proved so popular we are now planning a second event in the new year."

The conference will include a site tour of Electrolube’s manufacturing site in Ashby de la Zouch, which opened last year, as well as a gala dinner being held at nearby Restaurant Gilmore.

The inaugural event will be followed in November by Electrolube’s internal staff conference for around 40 members of its sales force, technical team and general managers.
