Natural History Museum to host debut C&IT Excellence Awards

The inaugural C&IT Excellence Awards will take place at the Natural History Museum on 4 November.

The awards, which are designed to recognise and celebrate best practice across worldwide business to business C&I activity, will be produced by Haymarket Media Group’s awards division.

The deadline for entries is 28 July, 2011 and details of how to enter can be found at www.citawards.com

The categories are divided up into C&I Business Excellence, C&I Sectors of Excellence, C&I Events of Excellence and C&I Figures of Excellence. There will also be one overall Excellence Grand Prix award.

The winners will be decided by an independent panel of judges who will assess the entries during a day of judging later in the year.

C&I Business Excellence

Awards will be presented to companies who can effectively show excellence in the following business areas:

Best Use of CSR as part of an incentive programme

Cost Effective use of a budget 

C&I Business Solution award (awarded for creative execution / originality/ use of digital)

Team Building Solution award

C&I Technology innovation award

C&I Sectors of Excellence

Awards will be presented to companies who have proven effectiveness in conference, meeting or incentive travel programmes within the following sectors:

Business & Finance Event of the Year

Automotive Event of the Year

IT & Telecoms Event of the Year

Retail Event of the Year

FMCG Event of the Year

Medical & Pharmaceutical Event of the Year

C&I Events of Excellence

Awards will be presented to organisers and agencies who can prove excellence for the following events:

Association Congress of the Year

Incentive Programme of the Year

Domestic Conference of the Year

International Conference of the Year

Product Launch of the Year

C&I Figures of Excellence

Worldwide Convention Centre Team of the Year

Industry Newcomer of the Year (Organiser)

Industry Newcomer of the Year (Supplier)

Excellence Grand Prix

One main award will be presented to the company or individual the judges feel has proven outstanding excellence in the C&I market. This will be chosen from all of the category entries.
