The group said that client confidence, investment into facilities and equipment and a 40% increase in team members helped fuel the growth, despite the recession and the Impact of TOMS.

DRP posted a net profit figure of £1.06m in 2010 and reported that their first quarter target for 2011 is 110% up on last year to £2.1m.

"We are already 70% of the way towards achieving our second quarter figure already. An increase in projects from clients old and new accounts for these results but this has become achievable on the back of the groups development during its 30th anniversary year," said DRP group managing director Dale Parmenter.

He added: "Throughout the recession we adopted an aggressive strategy towards investment in our facilities, our equipment but most importantly, our team. While others were making redundancies, we were talking people on and its down to the hard work and strength of the team that we have been able to achieve such fantastic results in 2010 and such a promising first quarter."

DRP Group has appointed seven new staff as part of its drive to expand its team by 30 in 2010. It this week bought a digital media company for mobile apps.
