The hotel, which opens next month, is targeting the corporate and conference markets and has 146 rooms.
These have been UV protected, preventing the rooms from heating uncomfortably, reducing the need for air conditioning.
The hotel has also been constructed with green building materials and, wherever possible, energy and water efficient systems have been introduced. These include variable speed-drive lift systems, heat pump technology, building management systems and a water treatment system that reduces the use of chlorine.
Conference facilities will cater for groups of up to 600 and there is a rooftop pool and bar.
