Thomson Reuters win spurs four senior appointments at George P Johnson

Following business growth, including new client win Thomson Reuters, George P Johnson (GPJ) has appointed four senior staff.

Ex-Jack Morton senior vice president EMEA Kevin Jackson has joined as director of business development.

Three senior account director roles are filled by Amanda Stephenson, Ursula Morrish and Adrian Power.

Stephenson joins from Grayling Live and in her 20 years experience has worked with T-Mobile, BT, British Gas, the ICC and Shell.

Morrish joins from Fitch Live and has experience working in the public sector with UKTI and the London Mayor’s Office as well as brands including Sony and Diageo.

Power joins GPJ from Jack Morton where he was responsible for project delivery for clients including Toyota, Nokia and HSBC.

Managing director of GPJ EMEA Kim Myhre said: "We have had an exciting year and winning several new clients including the global events roster for Thomson Reuters. Amanda, Ursula and Adrian bring with them tremendous experience which will add enormous value to our clients and our business as a whole. We have aggressive growth plans for the future and this team will further support these plans."

Jackson told C&IT: "GPJ are on top of their game at the moment. The future of events is about merging with the brand experience. We are all connecting with brands on a daily basis and its up to the events industry to bring that experience into a live environment."

Several production and event managers have also been appointed by GPJ, all of whom are starting in the next three months.
