BCD's finance director Ian Wilson said that the meeting sector in general has made a comeback, as well as a general improvement in the economy.
"People are having meetings again. We had a very flat year in 2009, but companies just couldn't hold off for too long. We've also launched a more transparent meetings package with dedicated teams of staff running corporate accounts, which has been very popular, leading to many three-year deals," he added.
BCD, whose clients include Dupont and Pfizer, also reported a turnover increase from £2,297,018 in 2009 to £3,352,839 for last year.
Wilson said that he expects 2011 to be a very good year for the company, which underwent a restructure in 2009 before recording a £1.27m loss in 2009.
