New clients

New clients for 2011 include Barclays – which appointed the agency last month following a competitive tender – and TGI Friday’s.

Meanwhile, existing clients SAB Miller, Sony, US technology company LSI and financial group Old Mutual have also planned work with the agency in 2011.

Acclaim acquisition

The agency – which acquired Acclaim in August last year – is working with Sony in conjunction with its sponsorship of the World Photography Awards being held in London in April.

It will deliver two incentive programmes for LSI and deliver events in the UK, Europe and South Africa for Old Mutual.

Crown sales and marketing director Simon Hambley said: "Crown has launched a new brand look that redefines the agency following acquisitions and a strategic review in 2010. With a team of 48, an international client base of leading brands and a full service offer that includes in-house digital, Crown is positioning itself to compete at the highest level and deliver best in class experiential, live event, video and digital solutions."

Staff hires

Alexandra Talbot – who was previously a senior event manager at Fitch Live - has joined the agency as head of logistics, while Laura Sydie has joined the production team as a project co-ordinator.

Ahmed Al Husseini and Rishy Malhotra have joined the digital team.
