First Impressions…

The Zibrant offices seem brimming with fun-loving staff, many of whom travel from far and wide to enjoy the working culture. The office's lime green walls won’t be to everyone’s taste, mind.

The history…

In August 2005 IBR, ILIICO Events, MRM and McGarvey Russell were united under the umbrella brand Zibrant. The company later acquired Rand, a UK venue finding agency. In October 2007, Motivcom acquired Zibrant in a £15m deal however, Zibrant remained an independent company within the Motivcom portfolio. In May 2008 Zibrant launched a Kuala Lumpur office to serve the Pan Asian MICE market.

What’s nearby?...

Not that managing director-operations Chris Parnham likes to talk about it, but the stadium of Derby County FC is just a stone’s throw away, yet the surroundings are decidedly smart, given the usual standard of areas surrounding football stadia. A Frankie & Benny’s restaurant is also in enticing distance of the office, and Derby rail station is a short drive away.

The goody bag…

Zibrant’s bag of tricks is a must have. The doe-eyed goat cuddly toy, the Refreshers sweets and the branded stationery are impressive enough, but the real standout has to be the company calendar in aid of the Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN) charity. Managing director of operations Chris Parnham looks just great as a Christmas elf, whilst events director Debra Nightingale does a great impression of a headmistress.

Stars in their eyes…

As an ode to their staff’s hard work, a Hollywood Boulevard style walkway featuring the names of top performing staff graces one of the building’s hallways. The named high-flyers also get to go on an annual incentive trip, which was last held in New York.
