Wilson was appointed as Fresh Group’s first head of group finance in August last year in a bid for the agency to drive profitability.

Fresh Group last month announced sales of almost £3.3m for the three-month period October to December.

The agency is now forecasting a £10m turnover target for 2010/11, following an £8.65m turnover last year.

Fresh has won new business with the Co-op, Makro and Brother, and this month produced Santander’s annual convention at Earls Court.

Fresh Group chairman Nick Porter said Wilson’s first six months have "contributed directly to improved business processes and financial reporting".

"This move reflects how we are building the business for the future," added Porter. "Antony is a valuable addition to the already strong senior management team at Fresh who are charged with taking us into the next period of growth and development of the group."

Previously at Manchester advertising agency TBWA, Wilson said: "It’s been an incredibly busy six months at Fresh and it shows no sign of slowing down. We are on track for a record year and I look forward to playing a crucial role in the ongoing success of the business."
