Microsoft will be using Glasgows' GEM online registration system, which manages delegate adminstration and allows companies to nominate people to attend events.

Sportscoach UK has hired Glasgows to organise The UK Coaching Summit 2011, an annual meeting of key stakeholders in coaching, to be held on 7-8 June at the Europa Hotel, Belfast. Around 300 delegates will attend.

Meanwhile, Glasgows will produce the Fragrance Foundation’s The Fifi Fragrance Awards Gala Dinner at The Banqueting House in April. Some 350 delegates will attend.

Glasgows joint managing director Paul Leeks said: "January was a tremendously successful month with ten wins in one week alone. We have acquired new business from Microsoft, Fragrance Foundation, Sportscoach UK, and the British Heart Foundation. This comes on the back of a National Union of Teachers annual conference win last week."

He added: "It's extremely exciting times for the business, we're well ahead of target and our transition into the private and third sectors is going very smoothly."

In January, Glasgows held a Lyreco Sales Convention for 900 delegates at the ACC Liverpool as well as a conference for the University of Salford and the City Food Liveries Lecture, which the Princess Royal attended.
