The venue collection expects around 200 delegates to attend the event, which is being held at the Connaught hotel for event planners including Black Tomato and Grass Roots.

The hotel collection also held a breakfast event this morning for travel and event agencies and around 35 corporate event planners including Ernst & Young and Deutsche Bank.

Venues taking part will include Chewton Glen in Hampshire, which plans to open a new 160-cover restaurant in April, and Sheen Falls Lodge in Ireland, which will complete the refurbishment of its 66 rooms by the end of the year.
