Societe Generale, Schroders and Tesco to share creativity tips at MPI event

Around 40 corporate event planners will discuss how to deliver creative events within budget at an MPI UK and Ireland-organised conference today.

Meeting Professionals International’s Delivering Creative Events Within Budget event this afternoon (31 January) will highlight how to create maximum impact on a limited budget.

Speaker Kenny Harris, who has founded the Headsurfing programme to helps teams with more creative and productive thinking, will kick off the conference at MWB Liverpool Street.

Branding and design expert Ayd Instone will lead a masterclass looking at practical ways of increasing creativity through getting people excited about an event, to venues and catering, and networking.

Studio Liquid founder Derek Manning, who specialises in corporate brand identity and has worked with clients including Hitachi, Samsung and Bang & Olufsen, will share his approach to injecting creativity in events.

Adam Taub will lead a discussion on how to spend budgets to create maximum impact following his work as creative director for companies including Astra Zeneca and IBM.

MPI UK and Ireland’s vice president for education Liz Rice said: "Lack of money doesn’t need to mean lack of ideas."
