The North London venue is hoping the ice rink, housed in its Victorian East Hall and named The People’s Ice Rink, will attract team-building and hospitality events.

The rink, which seats 750 spectators, will be open all year.

Alexandra Palace Trading managing director Rebecca Kane said: "The People’s Ice Rink is an indoor rink in a quirky setting that is open all year round. Organisers can use the rink as a standalone event space or make use of all the other activities and break out spaces on site. So you can have a breakfast meeting, lunch in The Phoenix Bar then blow the cobwebs away with a spin on the ice before returning to meetings in the afternoon."
