The event was attended by the 50 TWC venue members and included a speech by Councillor Brian Connell, cabinet member for Business, Enterprise and Skills.

The party was held to celebrate TWC achieving its 50th member and having more than doubled its membership in 2010.

The evening included a performance by Cantabile The London Quartet as well as speeches from René Dee, chief executive of The Westminster Collection.

Dee said: "This achievement is just the beginning of what promises to be a very productive and exciting year for the Collection and will be followed up shortly by the launch of our targeted blog for the event industry."

Corporates included Xenon Cleaning Services, whilst Fiona Turnbull, business events & sports specialist from Visit Britain and Mark Pacheco, head of hospitality at the Really Useful Theatre Company were also present.
