Tenerife: Hotel highlights

C&IT checks out the island's hotel facilities for meetings and events.

Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa: This five star hotel is located on Costa Adeje and offers 11 meeting rooms with natural light, and a multifunctional room surrounded by gardens, with capacity for 100 persons or up to 400 combined with the outdoor terrace.

Eco Resort San Blas: Opened in December 2008, Eco Resort San Blas is surrounded by a nature reserve and has various meeting rooms, an auditorium, a hall with sound and audiovisual equipment, an outdoor performance area, sports facilities and a lake.

Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden: Situated in a residential district of Puerto de la Cruz and surrounded by 25,000 square metres of subtropical gardens, the five-star Hotel Botanico offers delegates free access to its thermal circuit in The Oriental Spa Garden and several function rooms.

Abama Gran Hotel Resort: This is a luxury five star hotel complex, managed by Ritz Carlton.  The resort can cater for up to 850 people and is 25 minutes from Tenerife South airport.  There are 10 restaurants, a golden sand beach for themed events, areas in the open air for team building activities, a tennis club and an 18-hole golf course.

Hotel Beatriz Atlantis & Spa: Within walking distance from the water front in Puerto de la Cruz, this recently refurbished four-star hotel has six conference rooms and capacity for 500 people.
