The 192-room Leicester Square hotel is located in the midst of a £20m regeneration area, which will see a new pedestrianised zone.

The tour, conducted by W Hotel's general manager Kevin Rockey, featured previews of completed bedrooms, which come with an oversized dining table.

W London also showcased its dedicated screening room, which has 39 seats and support for 3D viewing and 4K digital projection.

The four event spaces, including a 'modern gentleman's club' space, fit up to 180 people and feature adornments including glitter balls and bookshelves.

There is also a private gym called Sweat.

"The hotel is designed to convey the duality of Englishness. We can be smart by day, in a Saville Row suit, but by night we like to party hard," said Rockey.

Last month, a W Hotel viral video emerged featuring Helena Christensen and model David Gandy.
