He is tasked with forming an integrated approach to marketing and brand strategy across KPMG Europe’s operating firms.

He will oversee all marketing activity, including events, and KPMG’s dedicated events team will report to him.

ELLP head of markets Jeremy Anderson said: "Terry's experience and skills will be important in helping raise awareness of KPMG's brand, insights and capability in a wide range of geographies and sectors - and also among our key stakeholders, including our clients and people."

Corby joins from Accenture, where he was director of marketing and communications in the UK and Ireland.

KPMG Europe LLP, of which KPMG in the UK is part, operates in 16 countries and employs 30,000 staff.
