ADNEC targets North American market as corporate business "regains strength"

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has signed a deal with Marketing Challenges International to bring corporate and association events to the Gulf state.

Marketing Challenges International will act as ADNEC´s exclusive sales agent in the United States and Canada, promoting the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

ADNEC sales and marketing director Christina Anthony said: "I have no doubt the American market will be receptive and we will continue to push for its business throughout the next year."

Marketing Challenges International´s president Michel Couturier, who signed the ADNEC deal on the second day of EIBTM in Barcelona, will arrange fam trips for event planners and advise ADNEC management of key North American trends.

Couturier said: "The corporate market suffered a lot in the past couple of years, but it is regaining strength so the timing couldn´t be better for ADNEC to reach the North American market."
