Event industry figurehead Graham Frazer was handed the lifetime achievement award for his work in the sector spanning more than 35 years.

Ford, Toyota and Jaguar are among major brands Frazer has worked with during his career in the C&I industry, which has included co-founding Travel Awards Ltd and working within Grass Roots and Imagination.

More than 900 people at the Eventia Awards on Friday (26 November) gave Frazer a standing ovation as he picked up his award.

Meanwhile, Eventia’s Platinum Award went to Ignite, after it picked up gold awards in the experiential campaign catergory and event communication category.

TRO was handed the best agency award during the Eventia Awards, in association with C&IT and Event, at the Hilton Park Lane.

Barclays UK Retail Banking’s new head of events Nicola Handley was among those in her team to collect the gold award in the in-house event team category.
