Brandivity’s remit is to grow international awareness of Austin’s C&I offer in the run-up to the city staging its inaugural Formula One race in 2012.
Austin director of tourism Margo Richards said: "We already know Austin is a fantastic destination. With Formula One coming, this is a perfect opportunity for us to enter the international meetings market. With Brandivity’s proven sales and marketing experience, we are confident that Austin will be positioned for success within the MICE and Association sectors."
Austin’s C&I offer is also part of the overall representation of the state of Texas, carried out by Hills Balfour Synergy in the UK. At this month’s EIBTM exhibition in Barcelona, C&IT is launching its dedicated Stateside supplement and presenting exclusive research into American Dream incentive programmes.
