Newbury Racecourse plans hotel build after 10-year Bespoke Hotels deal

The Newbury hotel will be owned by Newbury Racecourse and will feature over 3,800sqm of event and exhibition facilities, catering for 1,000 delegates in one area along with 40 breakout rooms and outdoor space.

By 2014 the racecourse's offerings will feature a new hotel, bistro restaurant, café and bar, all of which will be branded in a consistent theme.

Newbury Racecourse joint managing director Sarah Hordern told C&IT: "Bespoke Hotels were a very good fit for the Newbury brand. The facilities will be very much part of the racecourse and there will be a facelift throughout the complex to seamlessly match the new build."
