The luxury hotel has reported a 7% increase in corporate party bookings for the festive season compared to last year.

The growth follows the refurbishment of the hotel’s Langtry’s restaurant in August.

The Cadogan Hotel assistant director of sales Jesus Sauri said: "We have increased our Christmas package prices a little but are offering added value, such as half an hour of free Champagne and a special rate on accommodation."

Meanwhile, the hotel last night launched the "Young Art" exhibition.

Actor Rupert Everett was among the attendees at the event, which showcased artwork by students from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
