Celtic Manor hosted 5,000 corporate delegates during the Ryder Cup tournament and vice president facilities and development Russell Phillips said logistically, it was "nothing like we've done before".

"There were challenges in getting the business to business discussions going on because we couldn't use many of the parts of the hotel which were in lock down," he said.

BMW, Citibank, KPMG, and Rolex were among corporates to host delegates at the Ryder Cup.

The resort provided the overall infrastructure and facilities for the sponsors and other companies using the Ryder Cup for corporate events. Services included the communication network from Virgin Media Business that allowed staff to administer the event.
