The conference, the largest SSP has ever held, is the first time SSP UK has bought together employees from its rail, retail and airport divisions.

In the UK, SSP operates more than 610 restaurants, pubs, bars and coffee shops at 19 airports and 115 rail stations.

The purpose of the one-day event, held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel this month, is to review the past 12 months and look forward to the focus and targets for 2011.

Line Up managing director Duncan Beale said: "Live events are an effective way to communicate internal messages and motivate employees."

Meanwhile, Line Up has also hired a new senior producer, Kate Hinchliffe, who previously spent three years at Aspect.
