The teambuilding and networking meeting, which took place on 3-4 November, was held at the recently refurbished Turnberry.

The last such event was due to happen in April but the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud meant it had to be cancelled.

Attendees took part in Maximillion teambuilding games including Quack Commando, a duck-herding exercise featuring a sheepdog and bagpipe playing.

Corporates at the event included Indesit, Loreal (Russia), Egg (France), Continental Airlines, Electrolux (Spain) and American Express (France).

Agencies included Adams & Butler, BSI and Creative Group. Representatives from Gleneagles Resort Scotland and Lennoxlove were also present.

Visit Scotland's newly appointed head of business tourism Neil Brownlee said: "Visit Scotland has established itself as a model for DMCs globally. This event showed off the diversity of venues the country has to offer."
