My Venues managing director Ben Aylward has been appointed in the new marketing role and will report to René Dee, chief executive officer of The Westminster Collection.
Dee said: "It is with great pleasure we welcome Ben on board. His knowledge and experience will be a real asset to The Westminster Collection and both myself and the marketing committee very much look forward to working with him. The Collection has grown rapidly in the past 12 months, and Ben's appointment is a welcome new resource and benefit to me and the members."
My Venues will also become a headline sponsor and promotor of both of The Westminster Collection’s showcase events in 2011, the first of which will take place at One Whitehall Place on 8 February.
Recent additions to the Westminster Collection include the Institute of Directors at 116 Pall Mall, and the Commonwealth Club.
