The European Peritoneal Dialysis (Euro PD) Meeting is set to attract 1,200 delegates from around the world to Birmingham in October 2011.

The venue will also host the CASE Europe event in August 2012, which is expected to attract a further 800.

The ICC director of international sales Catherine Newhall-Caiger said: "We are a venue with an extensive history of hosting events of the highest calibre, both from the UK and overseas. These two conference wins clearly demonstrate our reputation for being able to successfully host a diverse range of international events."

Accessibility

Margaret Sherry, managing director at Euro PD organiser In Conference, said: "We have held successful events at the ICC over the years for other clients and we knew that it would be ideal for the Euro PD meeting.  One of its main attractions for us is the accessibility both from across the UK and internationally."

The Euro PD meeting rotates between major European cities every two years. The Birmingham meeting will be the tenth in the series.
