The annual three-day event is held for the Grand Finalists of a corporate golfing contest, organised by sporting event agency ISM and held at various UK golf courses.

The Monte da Quinta Suites Hotel, which is near the Laranjal Course in the Algarve region, also played host to the final of the FT sponsored tournament.

Prizes from Inkerman were awarded for the first, second and third placed teams at each qualifying round.

Competitors in the Grand Final, won by building contractor Drewsmith, included Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Bewick Homes and Bovis Lend Lease.

A sponsor's competition, won by Supertravel Golf and Inkerman, featured corporates including Monarch.

Two time Ryder Cup star David Howell was interviewed at a gala dinner, held in the hotel's ballroom following the event.
