Hotpoint’s 100th anniversary celebration event for around 1,000 delegates is the first piece of work to arise from the deal.

Adding Value, Line Up and BSI will pitch their ideas for the April celebration event in December, with the winning agency appointed by Christmas, said Indesit Company events manager Jayson Weston.

During the process to recruit a third agency, Weston conducted pitches with 11 agencies.

The company runs around 75 events a year, including conferences, hospitality, golf days, training sessions and incentives.

Adding Value managing director Tina Morris said: "We are absolutely delighted as it is our first experience of this industry."

Line Up organised two major product launches for the Hotpoint, Cannon and Indesit brands in March last year.

The 100th celebration will be held in the UK, added Weston.

"The Hotpoint brand is synonymous with the UK, so we would like to think that would be the best place for it," he said.
