Lodestar is this month running Centrica Energy’s debut staff roadshow for 2,200 employees across the UK.

Leaders from the energy firm’s offices in Norway and the Netherlands have now struck a deal with Lodestar to run a further two overseas events after visiting the UK roadshow.

A roadshow will be held in Amsterdam on 26 October, while Stavanger, in Norway, will host an event on 29 October.

Lodestar managing director Phil Watton said: "After the Dutch and Norwegian offices came to the UK for the roadshow, they very much wanted a similar event in their own countries."

Centrica, which owns British Gas, bought a 20% stake in EDF's nuclear business - formerly British Energy - for £2.3bn in 2009.

The roadshow events allow managing director Mark Hanafin to meet face-to-face with employees and discuss the strategy of the business.
