Her role will involve working with Sodexo account directors south of the border to drive business to Scotland from key cities such as Manchester, Birmingham and London.

Sodexo Prestige Scotland regional director Austin Tilsley said: "Amanda Brown brings a wealth of experience working for some of Scotland’s leading hotels and I am delighted she has chosen to join our team at Prestige Scotland."

Prestige Scotland operates in 20 venues across Scotland, including Hampden Park, Dundas and Glamis castles, the National Galleries of Scotland, National Museums of Scotland, Discovery Point Dundee, Aberdeen Football Club and Perth Racecourse.

Brown has also previously worked as sales manager North America for the Scottish Convention Bureau, and worked for the British Tourist Authority in its New York office.
