The team’s study of ‘in-room behaviour’ set out to address travellers’ ‘biggest pet peeves’.
The redesigned rooms will feature in new hotels and renovation projects globally, across both brands.
Guestrooms will be themed with neutral colour palettes, natural woods and stone.
The Westin rooms feature herringbone patterns, basket-weave and geometric designs.
New features include:
• Bedside tables with built-in outlets which face beds, allowing computer and electronics charging
• Westin upholstered benches that can double as luggage racks and can be stored under the television unit
• Oversized signature Sheraton armchairs with ottomans stored beneath seats
• Sheraton rooms feature an LED nightlight and new Westin rooms feature adjustable LED reading lights in the headboard
