Brooklands Hotel in Weybridge, Surrey has appointed Rod Larman as marketing director.

Larman, who joins from Chelsea Football Club where he spent two-and-a-half years as marketing manager, will start his new role at the start of November.

Prior to joining Chelsea, he was part of the opening team at The Grove.

Racetrack location

The four-star art deco-style hotel is located on the original Brooklands racetrack and offers a spa, 1920s-style cocktail bar, Italian-style brasserie and an outdoor hottub overlooking the track. 

Brooklands Hotel’s event spaces include a dedicated entrance and seven sets of rooms with capacity for 175 people.

Meanwhile, Brooklands Hotel’s sister property, the Grand Jersey, has appointed former Grove general manager Jane Goodyer as its new managing director.
