Adding Value's Peugeot RCZ launch, National Business and Brand Meeting 2010 at Battersea Evolution event is one of six submissions for Visit London's Business Event of the Year award.
Overview: AddingValue was appointed to create an event for Peugeot which would herald three brand milestones - the brand’s new identity, the new Peugeot RCZ vehicle as well as a new company MD. The event had to transcend the boundaries of usual car launches and had to be a packed-full programme of engaging content for both dealers and their partners.
The key objective was to create a dealer conference with a difference, one which would excite the dealer principals, but also engage and entertain their partners.
Execution: The conference had to be different in every way- including the choice of location – which was chosen as Battersea Evolution. The event had to bring the new brand identity to life so AddingValue set about creating an immersive brand experience. Using music, pyrotechnics and a powerful widescreen presentation format the delegate launch was a huge success. Using state-of-the-art technology the morning Brand launch was beamed simultaneously to dealers across Europe.
Whilst the dealer conference was taking place spouses were escorted to the Silver Sturgeon for brunch with jazz and makeover girls before heading to the London Eye to enjoy the landmarks of the city.
A final a wow-factor evening gala dinner was created with stunning external and internal visuals and special effects. The event was heralded as a huge success by Peugeot and their delegates, via online and huge amounts of delegates who left on a high, positive about the change to come.
Impact on London London was the ideal backdrop used to host this motivational and truly different event with fantastic spouse programme too. The event proved that London was a cost effective and powerful destination for corporate events.
