Hosted by RWE Supply & Trading and sponsored by Eon Ruhrgas, ENI, Gas Strategies and Gasunie, the EAGC will feature speakers from Shell, Chevron, Petronet and Qatargas.
Tthe programme this year is based on the theme Forging a prosperous pathway through volatile times.
RWE Supply & Trading chief executive Stefan Judisch said: "The global economic downturn of the past two years together with the energy price volatility has proved trying for producers, traders and consumers alike. Additionally, the ‘politicisation’ of gas supplies keeps the issue of energy security permanently at the forefront of political and business agendas.
"RWE and its growing gas business have strong roots to Germany, but at the same time our pan-European activities provide us with a strong position in the UK, the Netherlands and central eastern Europe. The 2010 EAGC will thus be the ideal platform to continue the dialogue on Europe’s energy future."
