General manager Dian Tapner-Evans added that conference and events were also experiencing steady growth, with revenue for room hire up by 100% in the same period in 2009.
Richmond Hill Hotel was operated by Folio Hotels until the firm went into administration in December 2009, when Kew Green Hotels was awarded the management contract. The four-star hotel has since been rebranded and relaunched.
Tapner-Evans added: "We really are delighted with our six month results. We are finding the market is showing a steady growth."
The 149-bedroom hotel has 14 meeting and function rooms, with the largest accommodating up to 250 guests for a reception buffet, while the others seat between two and 180 theatre style.
