The news follows the departure of Richard Parker and Amanda Hall who has moved across to the Corporate team.

Parker left the company to join Zibrant in July and head up the launch of the agency’s Paris office.

Barclays head of events Sarah Wright is also leaving in August and said: "After five years, I am now ready for my next challenge and have decided to take a few months out to explore the opportunities that exist.

"The new structure provides a great deal of strength in the management team and robust experience to drive the UKRB Events’ agenda forward with momentum. Additionally I have promoted Alison Gregory to events co-ordinator and Alison Payne and Miranda Moses to events manager roles."

Further appointments

Other appointments include events executives, Liz Baldwin and Dieuwer Deenik, previously at Chameleon Communications and Starwood respectively.

In addition there are three new event co-ordinators: Rachel Gouldson, previously special events manager for Sodexo at Pfizer; Melinda Addison, previously logistics manager at Euromoney and Helen Farmer, previously corporate meetings and events co-ordinator at JP Morgan.
