Zibrant managing director to head HBAA committee

The HBAA has appointed Zibrant managing director Chris Parnham to its newly merged members and partners committee.

He replaces former partnerships committee chair Ricky Kapoor and memberships head Kim Scott with his first remit to target major agencies and venues for membership.

"The HBAA calls it the power of togetherness," said Parnham. "The idea is to have the members and partners working in unison. They each have objectives, many of which are dependant on each other."

Parnham added he had been talking to the HBAA since January in a bid to become more involved. Zibrant now has three representatives in the HBAA - Parnham, Gareth Crowder and Helen McCabe.

Meanwhile, Motivcom group director and Zibrant chairman Nigel Cooper has rejoined the Eventia board, while managing director - sales, Fay Sharpe is the Institute of Travel and Meetings' supplier director.
