The service provides event planners with customisable options for using collaboration and business video technologies such as web conferencing, telepresence and digital signage.

The network-based technologies are designed to help event planners deliver interactive physical and virtual events and more effectively measure ROI.

Cisco claims to have achieved event-related cost savings of more than £65m by deploying business video and collaboration technologies for its own events.

Cisco senior director of global corporate events Nancy Neipp said: "We’ve been able to reduce live attendance costs by 78%, extend the reach and impact of our events, and reduce logistical overhead."
