The event, organised by the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau, was the closest-fought in the competition’s eight-year history. Team GB demonstrated its fighting spirit, with some members of the team sustaining a few injuries along the way.
Despite this effort, the team lost out on the top three spot it had claimed last year, as the Nordic team sucesssfully defended its title, with France coming second and Belgium third.
"We may not have won but we were definitely the team that had the most fun," said one member of the Team GB.
The rally took place from 9-11 July and involved eight teams representing Switzerland’s key C&I markets, who experienced what Switzerland has to offer event planners. Teams travelled across the country on bikes, trains and automobiles, taking part in activities that tested their physical skills, mental agility and teamwork to the limit.
