Heathcock began work experience with DRP Group earlier this year as part of the agency’s Believe Programme, which was run in partnership with charity Springboard Group.

The programme aimed to provide a group of unemployed people with training designed to prepare them for work in the hospitality, leisure and events sectors.

At the end of the programme, DRP Group offered Heathcock an events assistant role at the agency.

DRP Group director Jane Jones said: "Sally really impressed me throughout the Believe Programme with her passion, drive and desire to find work and succeed. Even while on the course, Sally enrolled in independent computer skills courses and attended numerous job interviews with the goal of making a better life for herself and her family. I’m looking forward to welcoming Sally into my team and helping her develop her potential at some of the exciting events we have lined up in coming months."
