Innocent and 20th Century Fox choose Center Parcs for major events

Innocent and 20th Century Fox are among the clients that are holding events at Center Parc's properties, contributing to a 50% growth in its events business.

Innocent held a conference and team-building event for 220 staff at Center Parcs, Longleat Village on 18-20 June.

20th Century Fox is also holding an event with a team-building element at the Longleat property on 7-9 July for about 75 guests.

The film company held a similar event last year at Center Parcs, Elveden.

Center Parcs reports that the number of events held at its properties in England have risen by 50% from 235 in the first half of 2009 to 352 in the first half of this year.

The company believes its commitment to CSR is a factor in the increase in corporate event business.

Among its CSR measures are:

• Encouraging water conservation and reducing waste

• Introducing building energy management systems

• Using electric and diesel vehicles

• Enhancing natural habitats on its sites

• Training staff in biodiversity conservation and educating guests
