Fresh Group has produced an internet viral campaign for Sound Asleep pillow manufacturers Comfy Quilts.
The ad - featuring a couple ‘scoring' in a hotel bedroom - was produced to coincide with England's World Cup challenges and features on sites including You Tube and Facebook.
The campaign comprises a press, viral and web campaign timed to capitalise on shots of Wayne Rooney boarding the plane to South Africa clutching one of the Sound Asleep pillows.
Fresh Group's in-house creative team produced the content, with a turnaround time of four days. The video was shot at the Great John Street Hotel, in Manchester.
Business development director Patrick Howells told C&IT the unedited version is "hilarious". "The idea was to create something short, to the point, and cheeky," he explained.
Fresh won the Comfy Quilts advertising account in May and has since been commissioned to produce a website, the World Cup advertising campaign, and further work later in the year.
